Frequently Asked Questions
At What Age Can a Dog Start E-Collar Training?
E-collar training generally begins at five months of age in applicable programs. Younger puppies may start with reward-based options such as Basic Marker Mastery™ or the four-week Positive Puppy Program. Contact the team to confirm age and eligibility requirements for your puppy.
What Guarantee Do You Offer?
For private lessons, we offer a 100% refund after the initial lesson if you’re not satisfied. Private lessons do not guarantee specific results because continued practice and owner follow-through happen outside our control.
For Board & Train programs, your dog will be reliable in the commands advertised for the selected program by the end of the stay. Graduates also receive free lifetime refresher training.
What Is the Published E-Collar Range?
Applicable programs may use an e-collar as a communication and attention tool rather than punishment. The published equipment range is up to 400 yards, although actual handling and results depend on the dog, environment, selected program, and continued owner practice.
Do I Need to Practice Between Sessions?
Yes. Owner practice is essential during private training and after a Board & Train program. Trainers explain the commands, timing, tools, and handling techniques needed to continue reinforcing your dog’s skills at home and during everyday outings.
