Frequently Asked Questions
What Training Options Are Available in Murrieta Hot Springs?
Available options include private lessons, Board & Train, Basic Marker Mastery™, the Positive Puppy Program, the 3-Week Reactive Dog Program, and the 4-Week “Rap Sheet” Rehabilitation Program.
The appropriate option depends on your dog’s age, current behavior, training history, and your goals.
How Long Do Board & Train Programs Take?
Current Board & Train options range from two to four weeks. The 2-Week On-Leash Program covers six core commands and work around high-level distractions. The 3-Week Off-Leash Program adds a focus on off-leash reliability.
The 3-Week Reactive Dog Program provides on-leash training for dogs that overreact toward specific triggers. The 4-Week Rehabilitation Program is designed for severe aggression or highly reactive behavior. ExpeditePro™ affects scheduling, not program length.
Do You Guarantee Results?
For Board & Train, your dog will be reliable in the commands advertised for the selected program by the end of the stay. Board & Train graduates also receive free lifetime refresher training.
For private lessons, we offer a 100% refund after the initial lesson if you are not satisfied. Private lessons do not guarantee specific results because owner practice and follow-through happen outside the trainer’s control.
Complete correction of fear, aggression, reactivity, or other serious behavior cannot be guaranteed.
How Is the E-Collar Used?
Applicable obedience programs may use an e-collar as a communication and attention tool. The website lists an equipment range of up to 400 yards, although actual handling and results depend on the dog, environment, distractions, and owner practice.
E-collar training generally begins when a dog is at least five months old. Younger puppies may start with reward-based programs such as Basic Marker Mastery™ or the Positive Puppy Program.
Ask the team to explain and demonstrate the equipment and methods included with your selected program.
