Frequently Asked Questions
At What Age Can Dogs Start E-Collar Training?
E-collar training generally begins at five months of age in applicable programs. Younger puppies may begin with reward-based options such as Basic Marker Mastery™ or the four-week Positive Puppy Program. Contact the team to confirm age and eligibility requirements for your puppy.
How long do Board and Train programs take?
Programs currently range from two to four weeks depending on the selected option. The 2-Week On-Leash Program covers six core commands and training around distractions. The 3-Week Off-Leash Program adds off-leash reliability, while the 3-Week Reactive Dog Program provides on-leash training for dogs that overreact to specific triggers. The 4-Week “Rap Sheet” Rehabilitation Program is designed for severe aggression or reactivity.
What guarantee do you offer?
For private lessons, we offer a 100% refund after the initial lesson if you’re not satisfied. Private lessons do not guarantee specific results because continued practice and owner follow-through happen outside our control.
For Board & Train, your dog will be reliable in the commands advertised for the selected program by the end of the stay, and you receive free lifetime refresher training. The plans and pricing page currently states that payment plans are available. Confirm eligibility and payment terms directly with the team.
Can training help with my dog's anxiety or fear?
Training may help dogs build better obedience, impulse control, and calmer responses around certain triggers. The published 3-Week Reactive Dog Program addresses fear or aggression toward specific triggers, while the 4-Week Rehabilitation Program is designed for more severe cases.
If your dog shows separation-related distress, discuss the symptoms during the free phone consultation so the team can explain whether its services are appropriate. Results vary, and complete correction of serious behavioral concerns cannot be guaranteed.
